Raising Lovers of Jesus on Fire for God and His Purposes on Earth!
Children’s Ministry Coordinator: Alyssa Tocci
At Antioch Brighton we love and value every child as an important member of our community. We see Sunday mornings as an opportunity to teach, model and share our love for Jesus in a safe and fun environment.
The Nest: This class is our youngest class, serving newborns through pre-walking toddlers. Class opens at 10:15 AM.
The Acorn Room: This class is for 18 months to 2.9 years. Class opens at 10:15 AM.
The Oak Room: This is our preschool class, serving children ages 2.9-4 years old. Class starts after worship, when children are released from the sanctuary.
Kingdom Kids: This is our pre-elementary class, serving kids in pre-k & kindergarten. Class starts after worship, when children are released from the sanctuary.
Elementary: This is our class for first through fifth graders. Class starts after worship, when children are released from the sanctuary.
The Oak Room, Kingdom Kids, and our Elementary Ministry use TRU curriculum to teach biblical truths in dynamic and developmentally appropriate ways.
Your child’s safety is a priority to us. Each of our committed volunteer teachers have been carefully screened and trained.
Our Children's Ministry relies on more than 75 faithful volunteers each year. We need your help!
If you would like to volunteer or receive more information, please email our Children's Ministry Coordinator.
How Check In Works:
Parents should check in at the Children’s Ministry Welcome Table before dropping your child off at class. Both you and your child will receive a sticker with matching security codes and the name of his or her classroom.
The sticker is important because:
- If your child’s classroom needs you during the service, the security code will be displayed on the large screen at the front of the auditorium.
- You must have your sticker to re-enter the hallway and pick up your child. For security purposes, older siblings are not permitted to pick up children.
We don't allow snacks from home in order to protect children with allergies. Cheerios and water are provided. Children are allowed to bring water into Children’s Ministry classrooms, with the exception of The Nest, where bottles are permitted.
Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these."- Matthew 19:14 (NIV)
